Stories like Jill’s are becoming increasingly common.  Perhaps we are more open to them, perhaps it is the world of the Internet that allows so many folks to share their stories… and perhaps there is something going on… perhaps we have a new generation of children with us….

My 21 year old son past away last year when my grandaughter was only 1 year old.  His niece was his pride and joy.  Last week we were sitting on the back porch and my grandaughter was playing when she stopped, looked at her Uncle Jimmer’s Weber Grill and said ”That’s Jimmer’s”.  Shocked, I told her a story about how he would cook dinner on the grill even though he only cooked on it once since he bought it only 3 days prior to his death.

Audiences interrupt my talks with vigorous applause when I suggest that using labels like “Indigo” to categorize today’s children causes more harm than good. And this happens almost everywhere I travel. Because the applause is getting steadily louder, I feel compelled to speak on this issue.

The new children have been variously described of late as Indigos (because of the supposed color of their auras), Star Kids (because of their purported origination from other worlds), Crystals (because some say they are highly developed), and so forth. None of these claims hold up to the degree that they are made when subjected to objective research, whether via scientific observation or by the study of mystical/esoteric traditions or through a summary of visionary revelations.

Long before I began working as a psychic, I had learned to trust my instincts around my son. Probably because my parents trust their’s… to this day, Mom pays attention when Dad tells her that something is up with one of his children or his grandchildren. Dad usually has a pretty good idea of what he’s feeling - and is most often right on the money.  Parents have a way of just knowing what their children are up to… and when they don’t, it’s because they haven’t been paying attention - or, even worse, don’t want to. Certain abilities come to us through our genetic coding as much as through our past lives and soul experiences. In fact, some souls will choose a specific geneitic structure and then find the families that best meet them, in order to be born into a natural ability that they can build on. This applies to as much to our abilities as scientiests or athletes as it does to being psychic, or being able to see spirits and function as a medium.  Many of the readers on the Global Psychics Team are third, or fourth generation psychics. An Emmy Award-nominated television producer is looking for children and adolescents with psychic and medium abilities for a new show being developed.? The show would focus on helping these gifted children and their families in dealing with their psychic capabilities.? Participants would potentially be invited to a three-day? program with other kids and their families to help them learn about their gift and adjust.

Hi, my name is Sophie, I am 19 years old and I live in Boston, MA. I was born on November 2, 1987. I am an indigo looking to communicate with other indigos as well as share some of my experiences. Ever since I can remember I have felt different from others, misunderstood and very sensitive. When I discovered I was an indigo and that there were others out there like me, I was so overwhelmed with joy that I cried, because up until then I thought I was the only one. I am so grateful that there are people out there who really understand  indigo’s, and even schools that exist specifically for us.  Ever since my son was old enough to jump up and down in his cot he would wake in the middle of the night giggling and laughing, chatting away. I could look in on him and he would be looking in a certain direction talking or smiling. This used to freak me out a bit but as the years have passed and at the age of five he still talks to people and is always laughing and talking happily, I’m not worried.I’ve also always thought he seemed a lil psychic, knowing things before they happen or knowing someone’s name before he’s told it. Just this year he introduced me to some of his friends and there are times like the 1st time I met them that I truly believe they are there and other times I feel maybe he is making it up -  maybe because he thinks I want him to.

I took him to a graveyard the other night and he said he saw 2 people in separate areas. When I asked him what they looked like, he started by telling me some colours like he said the lady was blue I don’t know what to think of all this. I believe he has definitely seen things that no one else can. Can you tell me if these are imaginary friends or if he truly has a gift and if so is there anything I should be aware of, will he always be safe in communicating with spirits or is there a danger in it? Very curious mum.

What an amazing child! My take on “imaginary” friends is that they are age-specific Spirit guides, and many children have them. (more…)
