Feeling Some Impending Disaster in the Air?

Wednesday, September 10th, 2008

Have you been feeling anxious for no explainable reason? Feel like something big is coming at us? Are you having some unusual dreams or visions? You are not alone. I received this note earlier this week and thought it was worth passing on.  (more…)

Talking About Time: Apocalypse, New Age, or Mayan Meltdown?

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008
Does Anybody Really Know What Time it is?
Mankind has an instinct for perceiving all of time and history as meaningful.  We have long been occupied with organizing the flow of the past, the present and the future into some grand design; whether an endless, repeating cycle, or a straight line moving forward towards some ultimate destiny and fulfillment.  That’s why so many different peoples, in different cultures throughout history, have devised so many vast and astonishing religious cosmologies, and continue to do so today.

Objects That Talk - Divining

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Dowsing for water is a common practice throughout the world, a form of divining that even geologists use to identify minerals deposits in certain areas. Dowsing uses divining rods that react to the energy around and below them, so in a sense the rods are speaking to the holder through their actions or non-actions.

Some objects naturally talk to us, as if that is their purpose - for example, crystal balls. When I focus on a crystal ball, it shows me images, and triggers words and thoughts that contain important messages about both the past and the future.  I find it easy to work with plants, trees and rocks, but I have also picked up strong messages in touching a chair, an article of clothing or a piece of jewellery. The Eight Horsemen of 2012 (The Apocalypse)

Friday, April 4th, 2008
By Paul Dale Roberts, Futurologist

The Mayans were an intelligent civilization that had advanced writing, knew mathematics and were well versed in astronomy.  Most people think that perhaps the world will end in 2012, because this is the prophesy of the Mayans.  The Mayans made this prediction 2000 years ago and the dire date of doom is December 21, 2012.  Why is 2012 so significant?  Should we be worried?  Should we even care?  Let’s take the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and see what imminent threats lie ahead.  Then let’s add a few more horsemen.  Let’s really get this party started!   After we are all done, let’s add everything up and see if we truly have something dark in the forecast.   (more…)

2012, What’s All the Fuss About?

Friday, April 4th, 2008

2012 is still almost 4 years away, but folks are already anxious. So many fear that it could be the end of times - but then, folks thought Y2K might be the end of times… You get my point.

Countless prophets - ancient and modern - have pointed to this as a transformative time in our history. For thousands of years we have been told that this is a dangerous time, that we must be alert, careful, and loving. The ending in 2012 of the ancient Mayan calendar provides a focal point for the transformation, (one of many that we have attached ourselves to over the centuries). What with the news of global warming, it is no wonder then, that so many are looking ahead to 2012 with some anxiety.

Sparkling Predictions

Wednesday, January 16th, 2008

Making predictions is a natural part of our existence as humans. In our early history, we read the weather, the clouds, and all of the natural elements around us to know when we should plant, or protect ourselves from the storms. As we evolved, we learned to predict events based on the movements of the sun, moon and stars, and the art or science of astrology was birthed. In more recent years, we use numbers - statistics - to predict the outcome of many events - pollsters and statisticians have taken the art of predicting to an entirely different level. (more…)

Forecasting vs Predicting

Thursday, January 10th, 2008
by Brandi Jasmine www.astrology.ca

What is the difference between a prediction and a forecast?  Well, to listen to some astrologers, psychics, many skeptics and the traditional media, you might be forgiven for coming to the conclusion that the two words are synonymous. There is a subtle but critical distinction between forecasts and predictions that it is important that both psychics and their clients understand. (more…)

What We Wear Matters - Vibrationally

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

Over the years, I’ve asked many clients to stop wearing so much black, or to lighten the dark hair around their faces, or to stop wearing a specific piece of jewelry. Why? Because the darkness around them was dampening their aura, or the jewelry was holding lower vibrations that “infected” their hopes and dreams. (more…)
