More Psychics on the Planet?

In the late ’80’s, my guides foresaw the need for individuals to be available with answers as folks “awakened”. They told me that as we moved through this transformative cycle, more and more people would be awakening to their birthright, to their psychic and intuitive abilities, and they would be afraid of what was happening to them, filled with questions. I was shown a picture of myself at a bank of computers responding to queries from all parts of the world. Over the next few years, doors seemed to mysteriously open, until one day I opened the door to Global Psychics and this web site… it is no wonder then, that a ? is prominent in our logo. We have been answering questions on the web for more than 12 years now… my guides were right, many people are noticing new abilities, and many are troubled by them.  Continue reading →

Eco-Villages - Life in the Future

It doesn’t take being psychic to know that we must rethink out lifestyles to guarantee that our children’s children will be able to live comfortably on this planet. As a psychic, I am naturally inclined to live naturally as much as possible. And conservation of resources, actively supporting in what ever way I can the need for clean air and clean water, was learned at a very early age.  We use few chemicals in or around our home, are diligent recyclers and cautious consumers… but at the end of the day, we are limited by our environment, by choices that were made decades ago by those who came before me. My home is some 35 years old, built before contractors developed an  environmental consciousness. And I live in an old city serviced by aging utilities… it will take a century or more and billions of dollars for us to be able to update all of our services and homes to effectively reduce our carbon footprint on this planet. Peacock Feathers - Superstition, or Not?

Superstitions are rarely founded on fact, but occasionally there is something to what seems like an irrational belief.  This visitor discovered that there is some truth to the stories about peacock feathers. Although Peacocks are honoured as good fortune and associated with royalty, glory and resurrection, their feathers can be unlucky… perhaps the peacock is such a regal and powerful totem, that it demands that even its feathers be honoured by leaving them in their natural environment.

I am writing is in regards to the superstitions about peacock feathers being kept indoors. I personally am a lover of peacocks, being such beautiful and protective creatures. I was so happy a few years ago when a friend of the family gave me a large bunch of peacock feathers. I was still in school at the time and was into lots of different types of superstitions, i.e. wicker, meditations, egyption oracles…etc. I dabbled in quite a few different things. I found my life to be average at that time… always found I had to strive harder than most to get where I knew I had to be. I was known to be clumsy, constantly late, and the bearer of general bad luck. Things never seemed to go right for me. Continue reading →
