Messages From Beyond

Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

It only takes one experience, one connection with a loved one who has passed on, to know in your heart and for true and sure that we don’t die, we just change addresses. I came upon my work as a psychic and medium as a result of the contacts that spirit made with me over the years. I saw, felt, smelled, experienced too many spirits to doubt, and also to doubt that I was being called to do this work.

There are so many ways, and so many different reasons for spirit to connect with us - sometimes they want help, sometimes they want to help, to comfort us, to prove that they are still with us.  Sometimes they appear in a dream, sometimes we smell their perfume, their favourite flowers, or tobacco. Sometimes they move pictures and keys, or coins… however they make contact, it is always worth paying attention. (more…)

To Market, To Market

another in our ongoing series on living the psychic’s life

Saturday is market day, a weekly ritual that we rarely miss. I live in farm country, so the region is blessed with a number of wonderful farmer’s markets.  We began making the weekly trek to market years ago when I noticed my stomach cringing as I reached for meat at the supermarket - and also that the same thing didn’t happen when I stood in front of the local butcher’s counter.  It became quickly obvious that not only was it less expensive to buy from the local farms and butchers, but also that the food we were buying was fresher, tastier, “livelier”. Even in winter when the selection of local produce is much smaller, it is worth braving the cold and snow for locally grown carrots, tomatoes and potatoes, freshly made cold cuts, home baking, local cheese and the best bacon you’ll ever taste!

As a psychic, there is very good reason for me to be careful where I shop, and to keep it local as much as possible.  For me, it’s all about the energy. When I stop to buy potatoes, the farmer who takes my money wants to know where my son is this week.  When I buy my steak, the butcher happily picks out the best cut he can find for me. It is obvious that these people love their farms and their work and they take pride in their produce, produce that is energized by their love - which means that it’s vibratonal frequency will be higher and thus it is easier to digest, ultimately much more healthy. Has Your Inner Child Gone to Never Never Land?

Reconnecting to your Inner Child

By Robina Hearle and Sue Stothard

Reconnecting to your inner child, what does this mean? why do I need to do this? , and who is this inner child anyway? And what has Never Never land got to do with it?
Your Inner child is a part of you, a real being. A fragment of your soul. The part of you that first consciously evolves from in the womb until six years of age. This child during this time experiences the world, and forms from these experiences her/his emotional pattern for life. This is the most important time in a person’s emotional development, because what happens now lays down behaviour patterns for life, good and bad. (more…)

The Magical Appearance of 448

The Commemorative 448 Experience of July 12th 2008

The amazing series of events depicted in this article happened on the 11th Anniversary of my Yoga Master Sir George King’s passing which occurred on July 12th 1997 @ 4.48 am PST.

It was a beautiful Saturday morning, the conclusion of a 4 day excursion my son and daughter Owen & Amelia had enjoyed at my home in Belfountain, Ontario.

The visit of my children began on Wednesday July 9th following a dramatic series of events that started on Saturday July 5th @ 4.48pm. This was the exact time I arrived at the home of Toronto Groups Co-Organizer, Laura Shapiro. The purpose was for a dinner meeting with a soon to arrive Rev. David Capraro from the Michigan Branch of The Aetherius Society.

The following 4 days prior to Owen & Amelia’s visit would see a string of events that included important Strategy Meetings, a Temple Degree Initiation Ceremony, a Special Sunday Service and ultimately the Celebration activities of The Aetherius Society’s most important date, The July 8th, Initiation of Earth Commemoration.

Is Nothing Sacred?

by Phil

I recently came upon a funny about the Washington Post’s Mensa Invitational, an event that “…asked readers to take any word from the dictionary, alter it by adding, subtracting or changing one letter, and supply a new definition… Each is an artificial word with only one letter altered from a real word.”

Some of my favorites were:

6. Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person who doesn’t get it.

13. Dopeler Effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come at you rapidly.

17. Ignoranus: A person who’s both stupid and an asshole.”

Living Consciously

Tuesday, July 15th, 2008

Excerpts from Annamaria Hemingway’s “Practicing Conscious Living and Dying: Stories of the Eternal Continuum of Consciousness”

One of the great benefits of being psychic and a medium, is knowing that consiousness is a continuum - life goes on, and on… Life has purpose, we are here to learn, to love and to grow. As Annamaria points out in her book, living consciously demands an awareness of dying and the afterlife. An understanding of the eternal continuum of consciousness enables us to appreciate every moment that we are living….

“Following my after-death communications with my mother, I became more fully convinced in life after death, and realized how many people are afraid of facing their own and other’s mortality, becuase they believe that it is the end.  Through my experiences, I have learned that fully embracing death does help us to understand the great mysteries of existence: why we are here, why we suffer, and where we go when we die. Objects That Talk - Divining

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Dowsing for water is a common practice throughout the world, a form of divining that even geologists use to identify minerals deposits in certain areas. Dowsing uses divining rods that react to the energy around and below them, so in a sense the rods are speaking to the holder through their actions or non-actions.

Some objects naturally talk to us, as if that is their purpose - for example, crystal balls. When I focus on a crystal ball, it shows me images, and triggers words and thoughts that contain important messages about both the past and the future.  I find it easy to work with plants, trees and rocks, but I have also picked up strong messages in touching a chair, an article of clothing or a piece of jewellery.
