How To Get the Most Out of a Psychic or Tarot Reading

Monday, June 30th, 2008

Getting a psychic or tarot reading is often met with excitement, caution, a little fear as well as skepticism. We want to to believe there is an absolute answer and a solid future that will unfold according to some grand divine blueprint. We don’t want to make the mistake of giving our power away to a psychic or tarot reader when the power is within us. Readers can see the signposts along the way and help direct us in a way that serves our highest good. (more…)

GETTING THE “RIGHT” CARDS

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008
by James Wells

There are many ideas out there about how we get the “right” cards in a tarot consultation.  Some say that it’s psychokenesis at work, others say spirit guides pick the pasteboards for us.  One person might say that god/dess helps select our cards, another will swear that it’s our autonomic nervous system.

My own current theory is that it doesn’t really matter which card(s) we pick from the tarot deck.  They’re ALL appropriate for any situation or inquiry.  Since the concepts and images in the tarot are rooted in centuries of human experience, and since we’re humans having an experience, whatever card is selected will respond to our inquiry.  Each card contains a piece of the whole, just like one of my cells contains the entirety of me.  (more…)

Awakening to your true self.

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008
by Phil Reckard

Growing up with psychic or empathic abilities isn’t always a “good” thing. Way too often such innate talents are seen by others as having some sort of deviant qualities to them, as if we’re somehow dealing with suspicious otherworldly influences, or worse.

Parents or other significant adults with misguided religious views might believe we’re dealing with demonic, or even satanic entities, and they do what they can to beat it out of us psychically, emotionally, literally, or some combination of these powerful persuasions. Believing we’re somehow wrong, we do what we can to shut it down in order to become productive members of society. (more…)

A Story of Planning Blindness

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008
excerpt from the book, Courageous Souls by Robert Schwartz

So often, when something “bad” happens to us, it appears to be purposeless suffering. But what if our most difficult experiences are actually rich with hidden purpose – purpose that we ourselves planned before we were born? Could it be that we choose our life’s circumstances, relationships, and events?

In my research for my book Courageous Souls: Do We Plan Our Life Challenges Before Birth?, I found that the answer to this question is a definite yes. Working with four of the most gifted mediums and channels in the country, including one who is able both to see and to hear our pre-birth planning sessions, I’ve examined the pre-birth plans of dozens of people. These people planned such challenges as physical illness, having handicapped children, deafness, blindness, drug addiction, alcoholism, losing a loved one, and severe accidents. Courageously, they planned these challenges for purposes of spiritual growth.

We’re Growing!!

We have found some terrific talent!!!!!.

There have been so many changes in the Global Psychics team that I thought it was time to remind you of the many awesome guides we have available to help you make the most of life. A lot happening behind the scenes here.  Two people you have become accustomed to calling  are no longer available for phone readings.  Jody recently lost her hearing - we are hoping this is temporary, but in the meantime, she is still available for chat and email readings, and is still getting rave reviews! Lisa’s second computer crashed and since she is getting married this summer, she decided to take a full-time seasonal position outside her home… We are hoping that by Sept. she will have time for readings again.

In the meantime, I have been hiring some very special resources for our team, Kara, Cherie, Dainzie and Sabrina, along with Jen, whom many of you have already discovered to be a very helpful guide… gifted psychics, all! All available for phone, chat and email readings.  You’ll want to get to know them! Call for your reading today, 888-509-9999, they are ready to support you!

The Shape of Your Soul

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

“Our prior exeriences forge our soul-shape in their own image. Each lifetime presents opportunties to expand it further. Like a lake against the rocks. the shape is shifted through repeated action, carved in soulstone by the act of becoming that which we have been called to be. (more…)

A Warning about Gurus

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008
An excerpt from the book “Soulshaping“ by Jeff Brown

“Some of us turn to gurus to help us home. In the Hindu tradition, a distinction is made between two types: (1) sat-guru; (2) upa-guru. A sat-guru is a realized master. She is the way. Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma) and Neem Karoli Baba are said to be examples of sat-guru. An upa-guru is a door opener. They influence a shift in your consciousness. They show you some part of the way. Anyone - your mother, your cat, the homeless guy who tells you to get out of your head - can be an upa-guru. (more…)

Connecting With Your Unborn Child

Thursday, June 5th, 2008
Excerpted from a larger article by by Victoriya Ivchenko, May, 2008

Very often I was writing down whatever my daughter’s soul would tell me. I really like the way we were communicating with each other.  One time I wrote down the following: mama don’t eat red colored food for three days, you can eat green colored food though, it’s very relaxing. But the very next day I saw freshly harvested strawberries in the market, couldn’t stand the temptation and bought some. But because these were the first strawberries for the season, most likely farmers used fertilizers to make it grow fast, and I got a stomach ache. My baby daughter was trying to protect me from it, but because that kind of thoughts are never suggested with a demanding manner, that’s why often I was neglecting them. Thoughts of the powers of light are never conveyed in a demanding manner and are resonated in feelings.

Also, children may want to draw paintings. Yes, I mean it, the child! But first, they can do it only with the help of your hands. When I was pregnant, I could feel how my daughter wanted me to draw pictures of sun, right in the kitchen wall. And so I did. There was something so magical about that drawing of a sun on my kitchen wall, with its big, wavy and loving light beams.  Every time it was catching my eyes, delightful joy was rising in my heart. Gypsy Magic

Monday, June 2nd, 2008

by Allie Thiess, Excerpted, her book from Gypsy Magic for the Dreamer’s Soul

What is Magic?

The easiest way to tell you what magic is, is to tell you what it isn’t: a quick fix. Instant
gratification only arrives in the movies or on TV. There is no real Harry Potter or harmed magic – at least nothing we mere mortals can conjure up.

At its simplest, magic is the ability to manipulate energy, to direct it to where we need a little extra guidance. When a spell is cast, we are giving our energy an added push to help us achieve a dream or goal. Magic is an added boost – a leg up if you will – but be forewarned that it can take up to six months to a year in order to see the fruits of your labor. Sometimes, however, if you’re lucky you can start to see results in as little as
twenty-four hours. (more…)
