My girlfriend and I have been using ouija for a while now and  have enjoyed talking to the spirit world. Lately we must have contacted an  evil spirit or one who is trying to enter our world. The spirit tries to  count down letters and numbers but we always stop it. We have asked it to  leave and even waited weeks before playing. The spirit simply will not  leave and doesn’t allow anyone else to speak. I lost my temper tonight and  yelled at it but that didn’t help. I was thinking that a circle of salt around us would work. Any suggestions on how to make the spirit go away? Thanks. Anthony

Unless you are careful of protecting yourself energetically, you can attract any energy that you resonate with - including some of the lower energies when you work with a Ouija board… for example, getting angry and yelling at the spirit would typically serve to reinforce its presence if it was operating at a lower frequency… it would simply feed off your anger and frustration. In this case, however, I don’t think you were dealing with a lower astral energy. Rather my sense is that this obstinate spirit is really your Higher Self telling you to find a more direct way of communicating with spirit…. (more…)

It is not so unusual as you might think to have a passionate encounter with spirit. In many cases, these experiences are attributed to astral travelling, two lovers connecting in the astral plane, when they can’t on the physical. Sometimes these experiences come as a forewarning of a new love to come into your life…. so be alert in the weeks following such an experience! Spirit may be trying to get your attention for good reason!

Very occasionally these encounters are associated with a dark energy that is attempting to gain control of or at least access to a specific individual or space… in these cases, it is important to do a clearing, to say prayers, and actively reject the dark energy by raising one’s vibrational frequency… While these encounters may start out to be loving and exciting, they will soon turn ugly and very scary. Most often these episodes are reflecting deep-rooted fears, inner turnoil and even mental or emotional dysfunction, so it is best to get help in the case of such a frightening experience.

Most often however, passionate encounters with spirit are quite benign, fun, interesting, but somewhat disappointing, a let down when you realize that it wasn’t real, there is no physical body to snuggle with… (more…)

Being an empath can present some interesting challenges in life… and it can even hurt… It is uncomfortable for me to be near someone who has just had some physical injury or surgery..  my body cringes and reacts to the pain in the other person… if they’ve hurt their thumb, my thunb will throb… although I may not feel thier pain very strongly, it is quite disturbing. Here is a letter from one of our visitors that explains just how disturbing being empathic can be. 

I have issues with lights going off. It probably happens I would say an average of about 50 times a month. Sometimes it happens 10 times a night. Its all different kinds of lights. First started with street lights, then lights on buildings then lights everywhere, in stores, in my house, in other peoples houses, anywhere I go that’s dark outside lights go out.

 Ever since my son was old enough to jump up and down in his cot he would wake in the middle of the night giggling and laughing, chatting away. I could look in on him and he would be looking in a certain direction talking or smiling. This used to freak me out a bit but as the years have passed and at the age of five he still talks to people and is always laughing and talking happily, I’m not worried.I’ve also always thought he seemed a lil psychic, knowing things before they happen or knowing someone’s name before he’s told it. Just this year he introduced me to some of his friends and there are times like the 1st time I met them that I truly believe they are there and other times I feel maybe he is making it up -  maybe because he thinks I want him to.

I took him to a graveyard the other night and he said he saw 2 people in separate areas. When I asked him what they looked like, he started by telling me some colours like he said the lady was blue I don’t know what to think of all this. I believe he has definitely seen things that no one else can. Can you tell me if these are imaginary friends or if he truly has a gift and if so is there anything I should be aware of, will he always be safe in communicating with spirits or is there a danger in it? Very curious mum.

What an amazing child! My take on “imaginary” friends is that they are age-specific Spirit guides, and many children have them. (more…)

Since I was a child, I have been able to sense things in a room. I also dream dreams that later happen. As I grow older, it seems my senses are running amok because I occasionally “hear” a voice, and this may sound strange, but it comes from an area deep in my core. Once it was so loud that I felt it vibrate through me (it was trying to get my  attention). In any case, recently I have started physically feeling spirits. I get a tingly sensation sometimes when they are around. I would like to develop this God-given gift, and help those that I can help. Do you have any suggestions? Norma

 Friends and neighbours have always been a little surprised that my animals come when I call then, both the dog and the cats. When I trained my first cat some three or more decades go, I didn’t know that cats don’t usually respond to being called.  We lived in a condominium complex in those days that allowed pets, but demanded that they come in at night. So, if anyone was missing as dusk settled into darkness, I would put my head out the door to call for the cats. And always within minutes, I would hear the meows at the door to come in for the night. When birds and animals appear around you, especially when they behave in some odd manner as the ducks in this next story do, they are usually carrying a message for you. I keep Ted Andrew’s book Animal Speak as a handy reference near my desk to be sure I “get it” when some critter appears around me.

This past weekend, I went to the country to visit  friends, they have lots of land, and animals. They have ducks they have raised. My friend and I were sitting on their front porch, watching the ducks feed, they came in front of me and starting talking, I mean they were trying to tell me something,and they did the duck dance, that is what I call it. I am on a spiritual journey and I know that I am moving to higher levels, I am so excited. I hope this is part of the elevation. Angela
