Common Questions and Answers
Occasionally a student will write to us for help wit a research paper. Here are some of the questions and our responses...
1. When did you first learn you had psychic abilities and were there any experiences leading up to or possibly causing their emergence?
It can be common for someone to have a sudden injury or near fatal experience to seem to suddenly gain psychic insight. However, in my case, it is much simpler than that - literally something that was always there. My mother tells me stories from my own early age of strange things that happened when I was just a little baby - under two years old. So, the only thing in particular that happened for me was shutting it off when I was about 7 or 8 because I kept seeing all these faces all the time and I couldn't take it anymore. I couldn't ever sleep. So I screamed for them to stop and they did - for about 14 years. They returned to my consciousness when I then began to actively seek them through a study of astrology. They returned right away, but had, at my request "left me alone" for my late childhood and teenage years. And also I was raised in a religious family with lots of people who had prophetic dreams and psychic experience so that taught me faith and so forth, so that I didn't question these things, just needed them to stop for awhile.
2. What have you discovered that you can do with your powers (I.E. telling the future, moving objects, healing...)?
Readings and spirit work works the way it wants to not the way we would like it to. So, I don't try and do anything other than accept what comes. In my case, it's reading the future as much as anything else and that comes through reading work. It is not always the same - the spirits that guide the readings are the spirits of the querant, so it isn't about what we want them to tell us, but our ability to hear what they choose to tell us. Hope that makes sense. As to moving objects and so forth, those are different skills from being psychic. Some can do this but that is the field of telekinesis, telepathy etc. and not straight psychic reading work. In examining the future, I believe psychics are like some kind of "cosmic mathematician". Life is created through our own free will choices, so I believe when a psychic can "see the future" it's because you have already set energy into motion that is sort of like "past the point of no return" and will manifest in a certain way. Sometimes you have set energy into motion (through your own choices leading up to the present) that can be changed with a new attitude, perspective or new behaviours. But to keep it simple, I believe we read probabilities based on how energy goes out there and creates form. It comes true because people are creatures of habit and tend to respond in the same way to the stimulus of their lives.
3. Do you feel that you or possibly someone else could carry over psychic abilities into other fields that have yet to be discovered?
Maybe not me, but absolutely. This is a birthright and a sense/skill that everyone has. Whether they choose to develop it or not is their choice. But it is not so much a special gift for a select few as it is a sense that is natural - like seeing or smelling for all of us. Our world has diminished that through various teachings over the years and we are overstimulated now in society so we can't stop to really hear or see anymore, but that doesn't make it any less real. It is a real guidance provided through your own higher self and spirit guides and is available for absolutely everyone - no exceptions.
4. Do you ever regret having been given your gift as it sets you apart from some people?
It doesn't though. We can choose to set ourselves apart from others for any of the talents we have - that is a choice. I know that the fundamental truth of all in the universe is that all is one - hence there is nothing that can truly set me or anyone else apart from anyone else. It is just the illusion that it is so. We all carry unique characteristics that are a part of the higher source expressing itself through each and every one of us in a multitude of ways, so there is nothing we do here that I believe sets us apart from our fellow man. Some of us golf, some play music, some write stories, some are dentists - whatever it is we all have a role to play and in my opinion, all are as valuable as the next.
5. Have you met many other psychics, do you believe that there are many more psychics in the world, or do you see most of the others as falsifying their abilities?
Well again, I believe everyone has it. However, it is an interesting question that you raise, because I feel that fully half of our industry is a scam. Why? Because of the curse and negative energy scam they push on people to part them with their money. You can look at the section on our site to elaborate more, but although I believe everyone has the ability I have to also say some choose to use it in less than stellar ways and use it to scare the crap out of people and part them from their money. They are dangerous and I believe will have an awful lot to answer for when their time to cross comes, but in the meantime, I am afraid that this industry is so definitely buyer beware that it behooves us to get the information about what to look for out there. We have done so through our website. So, yes, there are scammers and many who are frauds - not because of whether they can or cannot read, but because instead of choosing to empower the other person through the use of their skills, they choose to manipulate them to part with their money with false promises of things they can do. A psychic can do nothing for you but read. He or she should give you a sense of what's up and in its highest manifestation, a true sense of your own power - sort of like giving someone back to themselves. But promises to manipulate energy, change someone's luck, make someone love you - get that job - whatever it is is a clear sign that you are being scammed.
6. Have you ever had doubts about your abilities, or have you remained constant?
Like with everything in life, there are good days and bad days. We do need time to pull back and recharge because there is so much demand from people and so much to be done. However, the more you use something the more consistent it is so at this point, it is consistent. I do not look for inspirations - I have a technique to open any kind of reading and I can do it on demand. I don't have to be in any particular kind of mood.
7. Would you say that you were born with your gifts or that they were something you received from a higher source?
Whatever you are born with, you have received from a higher source. Your choice becomes whether you will cultivate it or not. This is true of any talent or skill given to anyone.
8. Are you spiritual? How do you think this has affected your abilities as a psychic?
I don't honestly see how you can be one without the other. It is fused and makes no sense to me to be separated. Being psychic is not about reading everyone's future as though it is cast in stone. It is a way of life and of living - a system of inner beliefs and knowing that connects us always and forever to the source of all that is and to each other in what is really an energy matrix. There is no separation in that for me.
9. Have you found the use of some sort of medium to enhance your abilities? If so what do you use as a medium?
Yes, the use of tools is very important in my opinion. Not everyone needs them, but for example, people who rely strictly on pure clairvoyance for example don't have the highest accuracy rate, simply because they can be vulnerable to someone else's wish projections and read what the person wishes would happen. In my experience, using tools like tarot, astrology - doesn't matter really - just something that allows one to discipline themselves is very useful for that reason.
10. When you use your abilities what is it like?
Fast and a very normal feeling to it. At this stage of the game it is just there - like a thought - a voiceless voice - an inner feeling - or words that just spill out of your mouth. We have worked so much with this we don't doubt it so we have given our own spirits permission if you will to speak those truths. Hence, they come flying out. For me, because I am not a trance medium (for mediums, the out of body experience or setting aside of their own personalities while a spirit takes over is common). For non mediums - readers using tools - clairvoyance, clairaudients, clairsentients, intuitives - it is just something that is suddenly known". Nothing otherworldly happens within - it is just data that is there and we speak it. Once spoken by the way, it leaves our minds and we don't really remember what we've talked about. To me that's a clue that a reading has been fully delivered - not remembering much of it. After all, it isn't for me, but for the person doing the asking. It doesn't just come in some out of control fashion - sitting somewhere just getting images on people. That is undisciplined and wild and not how this tends to work. It is a much subtler and softer skill. It is very important also to remember that as a reader of any kind, you really shouldn't go where you are not invited to go - so - unless you are being used by someone's spirit to warn of coming danger, you will find that you don't just sit around getting all this and that from people if they haven't asked you. Part of that is mental discipline - you have to be strong mentally to do this or you would walk around sucking in other people's feelings and thoughts etc. but like any skill - you use it when you need it and put it away when you don't type of thing. At least for me. You will find that everyone's experience varies depending on their history, but mostly for working professionals it doesn't overwhelm - it gently guides and enhances a life. It does not beat you over the head or come and take you over. It waits patiently until you invite it in and then gently advises.
Please describe the feeling (is it like flexing a muscle, departing from your body into a higher state, do you just want something and it happens?
That's not psychic, it's the creation principle. As we move through our fears and limitations, we will find that we can manifest what we choose instantly, but in our dense world, we are not there yet as a species in total so the time between our thoughts, feelings, energies and manifestation can be longer. There is kind of intensity in you when you are on, the sense that sparks are flying and you are connected to a greater knowing, energy is moving rapidly through you, a kind of "buzz" that comes in you when you are clear and connected.
If you can see the future how do you view it, does it come as flashes,
Yes. Flashes, insights, sudden knowing like intuition or pictures that show up with feeling flavours. It almost always comes in feelings not words.
or like a map of events already laid out.
Sometimes - it depends. If something is in motion past the point of no return, then it can be like a roadmap, But if choice can still change the trajectory, then it will have another feel to it - a more wistful feel or will give you an image or vision of two possibilities.
11. The last thing I'd like to know is if the future as you see it is a definite thing, or if it can be altered by events and take on a different shape.
Not cast in stone by any means. The cosmic mathematics I wrote of earlier
is closer to my thoughts on the subject. A real reader has to be very
careful to not create the illusion that it is mapped in stone. We read 'em
as we see 'em and that's that. But nothing about the future is cast in
stone. However, that is creation principles and that is more than we can
cover
here in this context. We are always and forever creating and co-creating
our
own realities with every thought, every breath - every everything we do. So
it's a lot of energy running out there on the web of life creating
everyone's
unique experience of itself and of themselves. However, it is not cast in
stone. The value of readings themselves can sometimes be seeing where your
choices are leading you and being able to change them. If it were cast in
stone, it would be pointless to even incarnate here. However, there are
moments when we come across something in life that sure feels like fate or
destiny. I also believe that is true. But I believe that all that is is
choices the soul itself made before it incarnated here so that while we're
here on planet earth, we feel like we've been lead or guided to something,
when in fact it is still us - in our higher selves and souls that have made
certain decisions that will be made manifest in this life because we already
decided it would be so. I hope that makes sense. Once again, study creation
philosophy - (not bible creation of the earth, but the way energy itself
creates through thoughts, feelings, will and action) It's more quantum
metaphysics for lack of a better term. What we do here affects everything
in the web of life, hence every action helps co-create experience for
everyone on this planet. It is very powerful - very powerful indeed. We
are doing it every moment of our lives - waking or sleeping - just that
some of us are aware of it and others aren't. Lack of awareness of it
doesn't make it any less so. But then we end up with a creation dominated by
our own compulsions and subconscious thoughts - doubts and fears instead of
our
conscious choices etc.
