Creating Abundance
We spend a lot of time helping people make the connection between love and abundance. Why?
Personal prosperity is closely connected to our ability to manifest love in our lives, for ourselves and for others. And personal prosperity is also closely connected to our ability to tune in psychically... Reaching for our natural intuitive talents is an expression of our desire to self-actualize - and as Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs explains, we can't reach for self-actualization until we have had some of our more basic needs satisfied for survival, security, a sense of home and place and personal value. And, in case you haven't noticed, when you're struggling to survive, to eke out a living for yourself and your family, there's very little time or energy left for meditation and prayer, let alone for study and personal growth.
So among the first lessons I give beginning students of metaphysics are lessons in creating abundance... using our psychic ability to create some Practical Magic in the form of personal prosperity not only affirms how easily one can begin to shift energies in a more positive direction, but it relieves some of the stress associated with day-to-day living. Then we can focus on achieving our longer term goals of finding our power and living with purpose.
Here are three wonderfully powerful and rather simple magical exercises for creating more prosperity in your life. I have used all three and can attest to their power, so work with them, get the magic moving, and then get out of your own way...!!!!
First a Spell for Banishing Debt
I was so pleased to find this spell from Moon in my mail box this spring.... for me, clearing the decks of the past is a priority this year and I was excited to be able to manifest my commitment with this spell.... and even more pleased when I saw how quickly and easily it began to work in my life....
You will need:
- Black candle
- Cinnamon oil
- Parchment Paper
- Dragons blood ink (I used a colored pen)
- Powdered Bay leaves
- Fire proof vessel
On the next New Moon, write on a piece of parchment paper with Dragons blood ink, if possible, who you owe money to, and how much. Add a Rune symbol that is appropriate to the situation. Dress a black candle in Cinnamon oil and dried Bay leaves (ground up to powder). Find a fire proof bowl and place it near candle. Chant the spell below three times, as you chant, burn your "Debts" that you have written on parchment paper and place in fire proof bowl.
Envision your debts "burning " away, leaving you in good standing with the people or companies you owe. Keep the dressed candle burning near your bills (not too close now..)
When the candle has burned out all the way, your spell is cast...

Start by Finding the Love in You...

Money has been one of the biggies in my life, a place where I've been forced to look long and hard and to do a lot of personal work. My most amazing discovery was finding the links between learning to love myself honestly, living fearlessly and creating a cash flow. Here is a list of the tips I give my students, secrets for creating real abundance in your life... in the years since I began applying them myself, I have started an amazingly business, bought a car and and a home, and this year I began making a good dent in my debts...
- Love YourSelf - not in the selfish way, but the same as you love others, i.e. include yourself in the giving of love. And then forget about getting love, just focus on giving it, being loving in all that you think, feel and do... yes I know that's a challenge, but it works!!! Generate loving energy around you and you'll start attracting all kinds of good things into your life!!!!
- Try it, you'll LOVE it!Clear the Decks - get committed to being prosperity-conscious, follow through on any opportunities that present themselves to increase revenues and reduce costs; be willing to evaluate your work and spending habits, to set a budget if necessary and then TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS!
- Get Some Energy Work - anything from massage, reflexology and reiki to spiritual healings and clearings can help you to mobilize the energy around you in more positive directions and can serve to boost your ability to reprogram yourself.
- Know and Face the Fears - at the root of most of our issues around money are some deeply set conscious and sub-conscious fears that act as a wall between us and what we want from life. So get to know what's driving you, what's causing your financial burdens, make a list of your fears, acknowledge what prevents your success and you will find the fears magically dissipating.
- Ask for What you Need and Want - meditate and pray, affirm what you need, call on God/Goddess, your angels and guides to bring you what you need - and then NOTICE when they answer with open doors and new opportunities, or insights that will help you stay on track.
- Notice Your Poverty-Consciousness - pay attention to your language and posture and work at shifting the negatives to positives, the downers to uppers... eliminate the words "I can't afford" from your vocabulary. Give away something you love and think you need... This active reprogramming of the sub-conscious will have an amazing effect, serving to shift the energy and to create many more new openings for you - besides making you feel a lot better about yourself and your life.
- Treat Yourself, Affirm Your Prosperity - buy that blouse you've been wanting, take in a movie or a dinner. I'm not talking about breaking the bank here, but a simple way of affirming that all is well in your world. Such small extravagances can open the doors for many more to enter your life... especially when you "purchase with intent". Take what seems like your last $20 to purchase a treat and you'll be amazed at how quickly it is returned, when you make this purchase with the intent of affirming your prosperity.
- Make Your Money Multiply - use a little magic to draw money into your life. Keep a $20 bill - better yet a $100 bill tucked away in your wallet with the intent that it draw mates to itself. Work with the Number 8 in your business name and phone numbers, carry Tiger's Eye and Aventurine in your pockets or purses to attract luck and money. Diffuse prosperity and abundance oils around your work, spray it into your wallet and over your bank and credit cards.

Dear Danielle, May I tell you what is working for me? With Joseph Murphy's book (in the Best Seller section of our Book Shelves, an excellent resource for powerful affirmations to reprogram the subconscious mind), I repeat the following each morning with a lighted candle and some meditation music. I wrote this on recipe cards and I read these each morning.
- Money comes to me from all sources. The supply never ceases. I praise my subconscious for its knowledge. By day and night I am being prospered in all my interests.
- Thank you for my wealth and prosperity. I am rich with money and talent. I attract work and money. My subconscious knows how to do this.
- I like money, I love it, I use it wisely, constructively and judiciously. Money is constantly circulating in my life. I release it with joy and it returns to me multiplied in a wonderful way. It is good, very good. Money flows to me in avalanches of abundance. I use it for good only and am grateful for my good and for the riches of my mind.
- I am one with the infinite riches of my subconscious mind. It is my right to be rich happy and successful. Money flows to me freely, copiously and endlessly. I am forever conscious of my true worth. I give my talents freely. I am blessed financially. It is wonderful!
- I also have a list of material things that I look at and imagine having already. (I already have two things on that list since starting it.)
- I give thanks for the benefits I have received already.
I say a prayer with a healing list attached. I then blow out the candle.
I have not been truly desperate for funds for some time now. Work has just come and people arrive for readings and many good things have happened. I have received so many blessings. From JoAnne: one of my favorites is the "magnetic" meditation by Sanaya Roman. To make a long technique short,
- Ground, relax
- Visualize an electromagnet in the solar plexus or heart centre (heart if pulling in partners or people, SP if just money or income).
- See it spinning and gathering energy, pulling the energy of what you want towards you. I often get golden energy when it's working.
- You will feel a "click" or an urge to stop, that's when you have energized enough.
